Note: Ajman opened its first Post Office in 1963 issuing stamps between 1964 – 1973.  It is no longer a stamp issuing country as it joined with the other Trucial States to form the United Arab Emirates in 1971 after which its stamps were replaced by those of the United Arab Emirates.  On 2 December 1971, Ajman, under Sheikh Rashid bin Humayd Al Nuaimi, joined the United Arab Emirates.
