On a crisp New Year's Day in front of 67,246 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA, the National Hockey League's eighth annual classic matched two Original Six franchises whose rivalry has burned for decades.  The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Boston Bruins, 5-1 in the 2016 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.

These pre game pucks used prior to the 2016 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic were all handed directly from the ice by an on-ice official, to an off-ice official or an NHL-MGG Authentication Program director. Every puck was immediately authenticated, identified and secured by an NHL-MGG Authentication Program director.

These pucks, used in the 2016 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic warm up, all feature the unique NHL Winter Classic 2016 logo and the Bridgestone logo for this pre game warm up only.
